NEGLIGENT CONSTRUCTION AND DEFECT LITIGATION

Johnston County and its surrounding counties have continued to experience unprecedented growth and construction, from both a residential and commercial standpoint.  Our firm has continued to evaluate an increasingly large number of negligent construction and defect cases, both in Johnston County, as well as eastern North Carolina.  There have been numerous instances of poor workmanship, building code violations, and building practices where building plans are ignored.  This office has been involved with problems such as roofing defects and poor roofing installation, poor engineering of roof systems, water intrusion and mold formation, improper HVAC installation, poor installation of interior framing and trim, as well as outdoor drainage problems.  We have been involved with claims against general contractors and subcontractors, and have also represented contractors where their work has been challenged.

We will be glad to meet with you and evaluate your potential negligent construction or defect case.  Please feel free to contact us through our contact page.  It would be helpful to review a copy of your plans, estimate of repairs, and engineering/contractor evaluation, if you have already obtained one, at our initial evaluation.

Our North Carolina law firm represents clients in the communities of Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Garner, Cleveland, Clayton, Smithfield, Wilson, Rocky Mount, Greenville, Goldsboro, Kinston, New Bern, Havelock, Atlantic Beach, Beaufort, Fayetteville, Dunn, Clinton, Kenansville, Laurinburg, Morehead, Lumberton, Whiteville, Burgaw, Jacksonville, Wilmington, Chapel Hill, Apex, Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Morrisville, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Wendell, Zebulon, Benson, Four Oaks, Kenly, Micro, Middlesex, Pine Level, Princeton, Selma, and Wilson's Mills, as well as those traveling along Interstate 40 and Interstate 95.
